All The Good Men are Taken

When women complain that all the good ones are taken, they mean it. Single women are inclined to view attached men as more desirable than available ones, say researchers from Oklahoma State University.

In their study, about half of the 97 single women were shown a photo of a man's face and told he was single, others were told he was committed. The women who thought he was tied down were more likely to say they'd pursue him. Why? "A man in a relationship has been prescreened," explains study coauthor Melissa Brkley, Ph.D. So all you men out there, invite female friends along the next time yo go out - you'll appear more desirable, Burkley says.
