Description: Mysore style is a self-paced, individualized practice. It is similar to a private lesson in that a student develops a relationship with the teacher and the teacher is monitoring the students progress. Although there is attention paid to each individual, there are many students practicing in the room at the same time. It may seem chaotic at first glance, but the teacher is keeping track of each student’s progress in the series. Students of all levels are welcome to attend these classes, however one time drop-ins are NOT encouraged because it takes time to develop an understanding of the practice and for the teacher to become accustomed to the student’s practice.
This style of yoga is a great way to get fit, calm, and flexible in both your body and mind.
Students of all levels are welcome including those who have never done yoga before.

Classes are held Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 3:30-5:30pm
Those new to Ashtanga Mysore Yoga should plan about 45 minutes from signing up through finishing. You may arrive for class anytime between 3:20 and 4pm.
WHAT TO BRING/HOW TO PREPARE
Bring a yoga mat, or purchase/rent one here.
Wear comfortable clothing such as dance or gym clothing.
Arrive on an empty stomach.
Be ready to practice with no shoes or socks.
