Celebrate Chinese New Year with Traditional Chinese Medicine! Enjoy a Healthy Start to the New Year with Festivities at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine on January 28th.
Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York is ringing in the Chinese New Year with a special celebration offering acupuncture and massage demonstrations, tongue diagnosis and a sampling of edible Chinese herbs, qi gong workshops, complimentary acupuncture treatments, and lectures on topics including “Nutrition and Health Tips for the Winter” and “Chinese Astrology—Year of the Dragon.”
The longest and most important holiday in the Chinese calendar, Chinese New Year begins on January 23rd and runs through mid-February. Ushering in the Year of the Dragon, it is a time to sweep away past resentments and bad luck, and to manifest good fortune and wellbeing for the year to come. Traditional Chinese Medicine can help us do the same for our bodies, by not only addressing injury and disease, but also preparing and protecting our bodies for long-term wellbeing.
