Enjoy Many Benefits of Walking

Walk for more than 30 minutes a day. That’s all  you need to do to move from couch potato to moderately fit, a change that will provide you with significant benefits. Furthermore tests have shown that people who regularly walk have less incidence of cancer, heart disease, stroke, diabetes and other killer diseases. They live longer and get mental health and spiritual benefits.

A steady routine is the most important factor in getting the most out of your exercise program. Walking for at least 30 minutes a day, 5 or more days a week is recommended. Before you set out, be sure to select comfortable footwear. Also dress in loosefitting, comfortable clothing and in layers if you need to adjust to changing temperature.
