Our curriculum and training makes it easy and accessible to teach yoga to any child of any age. All of our trainings are taught directly by Lauren, who created, refined and continues to teach Yogi Beans classes all over New York to hundreds of kids each year.
Infused with music and age-appropriate props, Yogi Beans’ classes are a balance of structured and creative activities which incorporate free-flowing movements with traditional yoga postures.
Each element develops body awareness, coordination, flexibility, and self-confidence. Children are reminded that “yoga is a practice, not a perfect.”
Our 25–hour Kids Yoga Teacher Training course will teach you how to translate the practice of yoga into a language kids understand and enjoy, which sometimes can seem like a daunting feat.
The importance of playfulness, non-judgment, and a non-competitive attitude is present in all our classes.
